Whoa!  HMS Javelin looks terrific!  Thanks for giving me more reference photos for my HMS Kelly!  Robin and you ought to get together and have a little destroyer run!

Thanks for the remarks Oliver, If you have the Deans CD you will find that a great help especially with all the fittings and their positions.

It took me about four and a half weeks Tommy, but I am disabled and stuck at home with nothing else to do.

After a lot of bad health I at long last gave her her maiden voyage.

Two 7.2v battery packs side by side in front of the motors was all the ballast needed and despite the wind she sailed well.

I sure wish we had model ship clubs here like you all do  in the UK.

I live in a retirement community here with over 14,000 people.

I posted a query on our community website looking for anyone that might be interested forming a club and I got no responses.

We do have a club that races sailboats, but nothing for scale model ships.
