Hi,
Hope everyone is well. My HMS Kelly is coming along and I'll post photos later, but I wanted to what capacitors you're all using in your models?
I'm using Dean's Kondor motors.
Thanks for your time,
Oliver

Now Oliver this is a subject where you are going to get a different answer from each person you ask. The ceramic capacitors for mounting on the motor terminals that I have obtained from model shops vary in value but have been typically 0.033microFarad, 0.01microFarad and 0.0047microFarad. NB marking of the value on the capacitor case is a bit tricky (0.033microFarads are marked "333"). Hope this helps but perhaps easiest thing would be to go to your local model shop and get a suppression kit.

Thanks so much for the response Colin and Robin. I really appreciated it. I'll dig around the local electronics shop and see what I can find.
Thanks again!

I haven't used capacitors on any of my Deans motors.
I have Kyte, Kestrel and Kondor motors in several of my boats and have no trouble at all.
