You may know the bride always wish to look fabulous at her wedding. During ceremony marriage couple is the main point of attraction, and guests' eyes are mostly on the dress and makeup of the bride, so buying unique and attractive wedding dress is necessary.

I did not see any of these at the warship model display in the dockyard today !
No wedding dresses at all in fact , just a splendid collection of warships that are a credit to
the guys who attended the show. Well done to all those exhibiting.
I must say I missed Joe and his type 42, but as he says he did not want to jump through hoops for the H & S Gestapo ! (don't blame you Joe)

Good to see Postlady Minerva and her friends at the show . Always nice to catch up on the latest news and model warship topics . Crazy day yesterday , the poor weather drove everybody inside and we had lots of children doing the quiz and model tank driving competition . Adds a different slant to our display keeping the children interested ( and Mums and Dads too !!!!) pity Joe and a couple of others could not make it this time , we are working on another improvement to our shows fir next year .
I will post photos of the display in the week , just rushing off to day three WE WILL NOT BE SEEING ANY WEDDING DRESSES !!!!!!!!!

Hats off to Ron Dean ! -  diversifying into wedding dresses ? ?
when can we expect the first entry level model Ron  ?  ha!

On a serious note, can't wait to see the photos from the Portsmouth exhibition
this past weekend.

I wondered where you were over the weekend Joe, - not being at the exhibition ?
Perhaps you were busy with the sewing machine behind the screens in action stations ?

^^^ What's wrong with a nice set of Bell Bottoms, they show off the leg when running.  Need to get mine out again they could be in fashion again.

a member of the forum has asked,..... he is from Germany and rather timed on writing English..!
and I thought it would fit right in this thread as it is going at the moment, the subject fits..  :-*

he is trying to find out information on Royal Navy Uniforms... and I know there is a couple of members that would rush to help.. for example Pauline and Troy..  ^^^

colour photo's of Royal Navy Uniforms from 1900 up until about 1950's,  not just the officers, but the minions as well..

might be handy if Mark was to put a couple of close up photo's of his crew on the Dreadnaught..!
I have found Marks thread which has a couple of close ups....
http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/index.php?topic=114.msg609#msg609

I have found a couple on the Net, but I am sure there are better ones out there, hope you all can help..

Hi All,
Martin's book is very good (I have an acknowledgement in it, as I helped with the research)
The Osprey book is like the curates egg - good in parts !
There are some grave errors (Petty Officers cap badge in red !! & N.P. wrist bands worn on the
upper arm a la M.P's)
If the guy in question has any specific questions please get him to contact me.
