Hartmut, a friend of mine and club mate, has begged me to post some photos of his HMS Guernsey build. He enjoys building the kit very much and has made good progress already. He made a first test run with a 40 mm handmade prop but that was too much for the model. He now has fitted a more suitable, smaller one which will be tested soon.
Importing the kit from the UK to Germany was no problem. It took less than a week including a visit to the German Customs authorities until it arrived safe and sound.

Yes, he does very much, Colin! He is the most experienced active club member, aged 80+, that is why he asked me to post here. The build is at a slower pace now as he has to move to a different flat in the same house.
