Bratislava! Wow. I went there a few years ago (2004) when I was traveling around central Europe. I thought it was a really beautiful city (well, the old town) and I much preferred it to my other big-city destinations, Budapest and Krakow. I also enjoyed Trnava and Trenchin. At that time, Slovakia was not on the drunken stag-night circuit (Ryanair didn't fly there and I had to arrive via Vienna) so it was quiet and peaceful: I suspect that this has changed and you now have lots of drunken British idiots at the weekends. If this is the case, I apologize on behalf of my fellow-countrymen.
