Here you see today are the pics of new comparison images with the Ruler class aircraft  carrier
which is fundamentally same with the Fencer of the Attacker class,especially in terms of flight deck
and hangar dimensions.

Hi all the RC model ship captains;
The pics for today are on comparatively nervous process of applying vinyl deck planking
and deck cutouts.
Because this process ,especially vinyl deck planking,can't be allowed for a failure,or
another vinyl deck sheet must be purchased from Deans marine again.
Moreover,even cutting out the deck hatches are also the same.If faied,the second order
of the vinyl deck sheet must be placed with...
1;After camo painting,the surface of deck was sanded smooth and clean.
2;Preliminary preparation for applying deck planking sufficiently to avoid a failure.
  I made the best efforts to position the deck sheet precisely,using adhesive tape.
3;Consequently,done successfuly.
4;Next,cutting out the hatches was done with success due to adequate preparations.!
5;Main hatch

7;Any parts in the hull can be easily accessed though the hull is long and deep, due to 4 hatches.

Hi all the Rc model ship captains;
Here are the pics of 21 Sea-fire onboard fighters,which number is the same as actual one on the HMS Fencer.
Currently,I have 22 Sea -fire fighters that I purchased many years ago,as seen below.
I used to enjoy lining  up them on the flight deck ,dreaming of a finished image of the aircraft carrier.
1;apartment house for the fighters
2;sleeping in each room for the next task...
3;ready for taking off !!!
4/5/6;onboard fighters fully lined up as often seen in USN large attack carriers.

First of all,I'm awfully sorry to be sooo late in replying to your kind comment on my postings.
It is because I have been in Hawaii in the Pacific until yesterday for about a week on
 an autumn vacation.

I would be very happy if my postings could be of some help for your building.
I wish you a nice resut of works under building.

Hi all the Rc model ship captains;
My HMS Fencer is equipped with a digital display unit of voltage seen through
the black window(ventilation window?) of the hull-side easily at the distance of 2m.
This distance could allow me to know how much of the voltage has been lowered
without retrieving the ship from the water anytime,when letting her pass slowly before me.!

At last,HMS fencer came to need a cradle for building ,as she had been applied
 a fundamental painting which surface must be protected to avoid a damage like scratches.
The cradle is very simple as it is just for use of building!

Hi all the Rc ship model captains;
I planted more than 420 stanchions all around the hull and flight deck based on the
instruction manuals.
It was a little bit painstaking but indispensable to make her more realistic and attractive as well.
1;stanchions supplied in the kit
2/3;painted before planting on the decks
4;try to plant to be vertical from any angles each by each,more than 420 stanchions.
5/6/7;try to be deliberate with tweezers
8;at last,finished all around the ship like this with several days later

Hi all the RC model ship captains;
One of the most painstaking jobs for building was to form the U-shaped handrails
with a diameter of about 17mm,which were attached to the front and the rear of the bridge.
I am originally so awkward that it took nearly a day to finish two sets of the handrails on
 the platforms.I was obliged many times to repeat the same procedures to form the u-shapes
with a tweezers for a neat result of the shape.
1;Before setting the U-shaped handrails
2;Locate and drill the hole positions for the stanchions before attaching the platforms to the bridge
3/4;U-shaped handrails was set finally after many trials and failures by the tweezers.
      It got to nearly noon,though I had started at around 9;00AM!
5;Rear platform for a search light
6;Both U-shaped handrails were set on the platforms at last in the afternoon.tired but glad!
  Sometimes in the process,I got irritating about my clumsy hands.

Hi all the Rc model ship captains;
Next job I am adding to HMS Fencer is to increase more realism and atmosphere
on her.
For this purpose,adding many crew figures to be put on various places aboard the ship
is indispensable.
I am currently preparing 30 RN sailor figures for her,but photos shown below are just our
old Japan Navy sailor figures at 1/100. (I am so sorry!)
 
I put them for fun and games.!
Please enjoy the atmosphere of the model ship.

Hi all the Rc model ship captains;
A captain and the officers have been deployed on the bridge this time.
Other crews are also supposed to take their positons gradually to manage various
works of this escort carrier.
Some kinds of dioramas will be shown up at some places on the flight deck in the future.

Outstanding work!  I have a long way to go before I get to that point.  I am in the process now of installing running gear.  Question though....did anyone else have issues with the rudder?  I found mine has a bent shaft and the two halves were not joined properly, looks almost like a Beckett rudder.  As I have an unusable rudder I am in the process of creating a mold to cast my own. 
   Anyway, am following your build very closely and am using your photos as well as the kit photos for reference.  Keep up the great work!

Thank for so much for your kind comment and compliment as well.
In my case,it took practically close to 4 years to complete,though
the  time passed for the completion was close to 12 years,
which meant there had been a huge amount of intervals.
Please keep your passion up to build your nice model ship.!!
