we have received some photo of a Leander class frigate which has been built on a HMS Hardy hull.
built by Mr Irving-James, from Folkestone.
I’m 79 and suffer from ill health , which for therapeutic reasons made me scratch build the model. I have always liked the look of the Leander class, but I couldn’t find anywhere a large-scale model of the ship.
I planned the model from photos on the internet and used a lot of modellers license to complete the model.
