hi ALL
i have built a model of hms cossack and bought a deans marine ESC 5
to which after being in a draw for a year , the instructions have vanished !( I RECON THE MISSUS HAS BEEN TIDYING UP  :o
i also have a futuba attack 2 channel set as i remember you have to cut one of the wires , ( something to do with using a seperate battery for the esc ?
but can't remember ) the wiring on the esc and the servos do not corespond , also the conector from the esc will fit into  reciever either way around , is this important ? can it go in the wrong way ?  also will the esc set itself up once everything is conected ?
hope someone can help
cheers

Hello Norm

you will probably find this link usefull for the instruction for the ESC, its not the exact same ESC but the wirering and so on is the same! it also gives you the colour code for the receiver (which is impuls, plus and minus) normaly if your are not going to use the in Built BEC then you would disconect the plus cable between ESC and Receiver.
yes it is very important to which way round the conector goes into the receiver!
yes the ESC will self set its self, but you can change this through the Program Button!
