Posted by: radio joe« on: 13 August 2013, 11:40:05 »Just watched the 488 video and it could be done with a Tamiya DMD T-05 multifunction unit, I built two Tamiya full option tanks and both are fitted with this unit, they have engine sound matched to the speed of the motors, controls two motors forward and reverse, has turret turning and barrel elevation both with sound, it has main gun flash that fits just inside the muzzle and machine gun flash via a fibre optic in the gun again both with sound, it would not be too difficult to fit the unit into a boat, at 1:24 scale the 488 would easily be large enough.. Has anyone mastered how to do this?. I have chatted to the guys who build tanks but with little joy. Any ideas chaps?
