Here is the pic of the maiden voyage. Everything (i.e. bow thruster and lights) worked as it should do.
I had to put 0.3 kg of ballast to the stern to trim her. The two 5000 Nimh batteries give enough power for a very long run (I don't know how long it could have been but after my run of 30 minutes only 800 mAh were needed to reload the batteries to their full capacity). I mounted the 40 mm prop as the model was too fast with the 45 mm one.
The manoeuvrability of the Grampian Pride is simply excellent
. She reacts very directly to the rudder and the response is immediately. I am very happy with this model
