Deans Marine open days 2021

 Dear  Modellers
I thought that you might like an update from the edge of the world near Farcet and to let you know what is news from DEANS MARINE .
Due to so many requests of late we will be holding our OPEN DAYS this year but on a limited scale to comply with covid regulations and staff shortage.
The dates for 2021 open days are September 17-18-19th
                              Opening times are 10am - 4pm. Sunday 10am-1pm
Friday and Saturday will be trading days, Sunday will be for clearing away so will close early approx 1pm.
 
We will have on display over 200 of our models in the showroom plus the new releases over the past 2 years of lockdown
The  OUTLET Centre will be open. Well stocked with our kits and many others items for the boat modeler, plus the MARINE PLASTIC KIT SECTION. and the ever popular plastic off cuts bundles and the rummage  bits boxes  ( while stocks last)
The latest release to the fleet will be on sale for the first time on the first run system at this event, plus display models of proposed new additions.
Our showroom will be open to see out model display but with limited no, of person at any one time
Building demonstrations in our workshop, and free help and advice sessions.
( staff permitting )

Club stands are welcome to attend with models on display all will be under cover in OPEN SIDED marquees
Our test pond will be free to use for sailing and demonstrations and fund raising.
   The bar b cue and evening gathering will NOT take place this year due to crowds in a enclosed space.
The cafe will NOT be open to comply with enclosed space, we hope to provide hot water supply if you wish to bring your own tea / coffee etc

There is limited camping and caravanning in the paddock adjacent to the workshops but space must be booked with us, priority will be given to trade and club stands.
All proceeds will be to local charities, all the staff at the event will be giving time free to help raise funds.
We hope this is of interest and we look forward to seeing our regular visitors and newcomers to the hobby.
