Post by: Pugwash on 14 May 2018, 18:43:38
Can anyone help with the source or construction method for 1:96 scale bridge wing supports for a modified flower class corvette?

You could probably use micro strips from slaters..
Or the profile plastic from raboesch..

Colin,
Thanks for the suggestion.  However, comparing a1:72 actual to a reduced version at 1:96 would indicate a very thin structure particularly on the diagonals.  I guess I was hoping for a source for an etched brass version.  Frankly, I’m surprised Deans doesn’t include them or offer them as an extra.  I’all keep looking

I guess what your looking for are the brass eched parts out of the Tintagel Castle fittings..

Thanks again - I’ll check dimensions and give it consideration.  I have not yet started building (I’m currently finishing off a destroyer).
