From the Deansmarine Team:
a E-Mail has been sent to us and we think it should be displayed in the customers Models
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please find enclosed three pics of my Liberty Ship .. Stephen Hopkins
I named her after the original which was sunk in the S Atlantic in 1942, but caused
so much damage to her attacker, the German raider  Stier..that it blew up and sank too.
The model is powered by a Deans Kestrel motor and belt drive.
It carries two 6 volt batteries..one for propulsion and the other to operate the smoke generator, lights.horn, 3 inch gun forward and 4 inch gun aft.
A five blade prop has been fitted and the ship is suprisingly manoeverable.
Deck cargo has been added including tanks , pipes and a railway locomotive
of the type built in the USA and shipped to Britain.
The model has been very successful in Potteries Navy Day competitions in
the past couple of years.
