Doncaster Show
« on: 04 June 2013, 09:56:10 »
Deans Marine will be attending the model boat show at Doncaster on the 8-9th June.

We will have on display the NEW 1/12th scale 25ft Royal Navy Motor Boat plus hopefully the first of the kits for this popular model.

We will also have on display the new release of kits that have been added to the range this year, Truro, Yarra Surveyor, the new Mini-gear radio sets

Details of the 25Ft Motor Boat.
This kit is based on a glass fibre hull with clinker planking moulded into the surface of the hull.
The deck and cabins assembly is LASER cut from 1.5 & 1mm Hi Impact plastic sheet for "one Glue" assembly.
A full set of fittings in cast alloy, resine & brass  is included in the kit with set of decals and name plates, window frames are cut from vinyl "aluminium" Propshaft and prop are included in the kit along with a full size plan and a comprehensive set of instructions. plus to add a bit of a talking point, a highly detailed replica of the 4 cylinder Thornycroft engine is part of the kit and this also serves as a motor mounting with the coupling exiting to the propshaft

First run kit price  135.00 pounds

Hi Mike,
this information is all that i have, i am not to sure if the kits is on general release yet..!!
probably why its not in the online shop..
if ordered to be picked up at a show, then you would save the postage cost..!!

for more information, it would be better to contact the workshops..  ^^^
