Deans Open Days 13-15th September 2013

Deans Marine is open to the Public.

You can see all our prototypes that are being developed

There seems to be a rumour that the SHOWROOM days are for DEAN MARINE kit builders only.
We hope to see many of our products on display, and again meet some of our regular customers from home and abroad.
The open days are open to any modeller of any craft that wishes to come, all are welcome to promote the hobby to members of the public and to pass on there knowledge and love of the hobby. There is NO charge for entry and any moneys raised from the event will go to local charities.

There is limited camping and caravaning in the paddock adjacent to the workshops but space must be booked
with us. priority will be given to trade and club stands.

Send a s.a.e. with 2 x 1st class stamps for full information of the event + location map + accommodation information

Refreshments will be available on site.

You have a safe trip and an great drive from go old Germany.   I  :'( can not come due to my son going to Oz on the Monday.  So Colin if you see any Lustys from the 1940- about would give my eye teeth for some  detail photos and contact details so that I can speak with them in gaining information for my build.  Paul.

I hope you all have a nice weekend!

Maybe someone can take a few pics for us who can not be there. I would appreciate very much information concerning the new steam engine and launch. Can this be used for other steam ships of the Deans range (Hudson Firth, for example)? I saw the video in youtube and found it very impressive. ^^^

Kind regards from Germany
Arno

Hope your trip over and back was OK Colin.  I hope the open day went well besides the storm on Sunday.   Was there many big ships there? Like Aircraft carriers! What did the new models look like and did you see the new system?  Paul
