Hi Dennis
I dont come on here much . I relay do like your build. I am doing Celestine and got her ramp working. One tip if I was you I would put a limiter micro switch on the ramp so when It comes up fully can not go any more . I to had the same problem 1:100 ferry 1:87 trucks .

Thanks John for the advise on the switch. I do have to be careful when raising and lower of the ramp. Would like to see your build. Really like the look of the Celestine, nice looking ship. Do you have it posted anywhere?

While I have been waiting for the leds to come for the lights I started to fit some of the fittings, Winches and so forth. I also have the superstructure painted white which aloud me to be able to install the railings and walk platform to the front.

Hi Dennis
there is a small build log on here . The big build log is on face book . I have seen a crane damaged by not having a limiter switch . The man did not realise the crane was lifting until it was to late and damaged the boom and the crane.

Hey Dennis,
super painting job à la Dennis
Did you use your airbrush or spray cans?
It looks very neat indeed.

I use a hvlp gun and car paint for the hull and superstructrure as well. For smaller fittings I use Tamiya/Humbrol colours and apply it with a brush. I take my double action airbrush for bigger parts that have colours different from the hull and superstructure (for example masts and hatches).

Hello Dennis,
glad you like her
!
Last Saturday, it was the day of ANGLIAs maiden voyage, 2 of my colleagues escorted 'us' with their ships. It was a fine little 1/100 scale meeting.
