in answer to a Question or comments that were posted in this forum by Oliver.
1. yes postage to the USA can be very expensive.
2. the price of postage is on a weight / volume thing, this means your paying for a package the size of a large kit which would be lets say 0.30 x 0.30 x 1.50 meters with a real weight of 4 Kg, but because of the size of Box this would have a postage cost of 13Kg
3. this then falls into the large Parcels, which normally is up to 35Kg, a parcel up to this size you could get 3 Kits at the same postage costs.
4. so if you know someone down the street or in the next city, that requires something from the UK, then it would be cheaper to club together.
