Deans Marine Outlet Centre Christmas open day

 We are pleased to announce that the Outlet centre / shop will have its Christmas opening on the 20th  December 2025 10 am to 4pm.
We running a Christmas special offer -  20% of all kits in stock collected at the show + 20% discount on all Raboesch 1mt profiles and propellers, and Bow thrusters at the show.
We will have on display the samples of the new 3D printed parts and specila prices on samples, prototype models of the proposed new additions for 2025, comments welcome as the interest from you, the modellers, assist us to make the decision of when, or if, they are released.
 We will have on show all the  models added to the range in 2024.
 Our showroom will be open to come and browse the 200 + models on display from our range
 On display in the shop will be the full range of accessories from our huge range of props, shafts, rudder, motors, lamps lights, fittings, radio and electronics etc.
 Lots of new items in the shop, full range of plastic strip and lettering, tinted and frosted glazing plastic, more new figures to the range, new motor couplings, new section of veneers and planking range, new additions of fitting kits, winches and cranes.
 A large selection of boat oriented plastic kits, plus the full range of Deans Marine kits & hulls.
 We have been training new laminators over the past 5 months so we have a selection of our glass fibre hulls that are not of the standards to use in our kits, we will be selling these off cheaply as rejects so come and grab yourself a bargain for a future project.
The test pond will be open for sailing and the new undercover exhibition room will be open overlooking the pond, so bring you models, sail and chat in the warm.
Free teas and coffee will be available, bring your own mince pies, Christmas hats and pullovers optional.

Thanks for your nice comment Colin, much appreciated! I have made some progress with the fittings. I have added a light at the stern and a searchlight. The 3d printed parts look very nice after the paint job. I am using Tamiya acrylics fir the job and an airbrush.

Next job will be soldering the leads and resistors to the LED wiring.

Latest News / Deans marine on a windy day at the lake

Hi
Another refurb of the older models in the showroom, this one is approx 18 years old. Old 27mg radio changed to 2.4ghz  bobs boards and motors left as original stripped out and new Nimh batteries,  original kyte motors.
    We spent a lot of time getting the balance spot on and motors fitted in cradles with foam pads to insulate from the hull, Double couplings, Tested on a cold and very windy days. also to windy to sail a small model, but we come this far hope for the sun to come out but stayed breezy she handled a treat just as the sun was setting.
 Model is  1/48th scale, length 580mm  beam 185mm running on 2 kyte  motors on 6 volt nimh Now for some strong boating coffee ( a good dash of coffee liquor in it for anti freeze purposes can be seen here on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03vrZQt2xRk
