Securing prop tube

(1/1)

PeterM:
Hello,

I am starting to build a Deans Green Parrot. I am new to model boats so please can I ask for advice about the best way of securing the prop shaft?

I have 5 minute and 30 minute epoxy, car body filler (Isopon 38) and Milliput putty / filler. Are any of these suitable please, and if not what is recommended?

Thanks
Peter

Tjorven:
5 minute or 30 minute epoxy will do the job, but don't losen the temporary bits and pieces to hold them in place for at least a day. that 5 min epoxy isn't all settled and hardened after 5 minutes is what i found out the hard way.

PeterM:
Great. Thanks for the advice.
