I have worked out the colour scheme For the ship. In the begining of August 1941 the took on the guise of a French Destroyer of the Leopard class HMS Welshman was similarly coverted. No pictures exist for the Manxman but some do for the Welshman.

As seen the photograpg the ship is painted light grey as were the French painted at this time. So the Manxman too would have to be painted light grey at this time for the deception.
