If you are close to the Derbyshire border it may help that we have a thriving, friendly club who meet at Markeaton Park, Derby. We use the canoe pool also known as the mundy pool. it is large, entirely concrete and around a metre deep. Afriendly bunch with a membership around 45, 20 who sail regularly. We meet on Wednesday morning at 10 am and every other Sunday morning at 10. You would be most welcome.
Hope that helps.
Andrew.
