The hull for this model is based upon a glass fibre moulding with all fenders strips, freeing ports and portholes detailed onto the moulding.

The E.S.F. Surveyor is a research vessel designed by CAMARC ltd of Worthing, and constructed by the shipbuilders HALMATIC of  Southhampton 1991.
She is owned and run by the Eastern Sea fisheries joint commitee, and at the present time is stationed at Kings Lynn Norfolk for research in the Wash and the North  Norfolk coast.
