Hi Ron;
I am soooo glad to have a high compliment on my modelling works.
I was taught from a building process of the Fencer that it should take much time
to build a better result of model,and I had to endure such pains as troublesome
and complicated works as seen sometimes in hull building as well as fitting works.

Hi all;
Here you see today are some pics of netting work.
It was an easy job even  for me due to simple structure.

Re: HMS Fencer installed with handrails

Hi all;
Here you see today are the pics of handrails installed with the Fencer using about 430 stanchions,
and 0.3mm brass wires.The most difficult point was to set the stanchions vertically and to keep
equal distances between them as much as possible.

Hi all;
Here you see today are the pics of the forecastle nearly completed.
This class of ships were originally built as cargo liners so that this forecastle
left the features of  the previous ship.

Hi
I'm sooo happy with your maximum level of compliments extended to me this time
on my model of the Fencer.
She is just a good size of RC model ship enough to enjoy even on the large lake.

Re: HMS Fencer installed with after walkway
« Reply #57 on: 24 August 2019, 02:06:10 »
Hi all;
Here you see today are the pics of the after walkway suspended from the rear flight deck.
It was comparatively easier to pass 0.3mm brass wires through the stanchions,as they were
planted in a line along the edge of the walkway.

Hi Kiyoshi
I agree with Ron, this is an excellent build log. In fact the very good photographs would provide a very comprehensive reference to building an HMS Fencer. Aircraft carrier models due present a challenge in terms of stability. Can I ask you what your model uses as batteries and how you have mounted them? I see you have photos of the main motor and a bilge pump do you have any photos of the interior of the model showing the motors/batteries electronics? I am sure the forum would be interested in seeing your method of keeping the centre of gravity of the model as low as possible. Keep up the good work.  :smiley1:

Hi Karlgalster;
I do thank you so much for your best compliments for me and excellent question to the point.
The question is still so hard for me to make a clear answer, as you see this type of ship is structurally
top heavy as well as large even as a model ship that will lead to unstability on the water just like real
aircraft  carriers.
No1;This is the battery I am using  for a drive motor. 12V12Ah sealed battery  Weight is 4.3kgs.
No2/3/4;There are enough and large opening in the flight deck to pass most batteries.
No5;Ballst fixers attached to the batteries."Both hands"are for anti-rolling countermeasure.
No6;The batteries with the fixers in the hull.
No7;The motor I am usig is top one.The small is 540 class motor.
No8;The drive and steering systems.
 To be continued...
