Re: HMS Fencer's deck becoming a display base ?
« Reply #255 on: 09 November 2020, 07:26:33 »
Hi all the RC ship captains;
This is another enjoyment to have a display base for the Seafire fighter on the flight
deck when HMS Fencer is not working on the water. ;D :) :grin1:
1/2;The display base
3/4/5;The display base is normally,of course,a part of flight deck.
      No!!,a part of deck becomes sometimes a display base.!! :) ;D

Re: HMS Fencer's fighter equipped with flaps
« Reply #256 on: 10 November 2020, 04:50:38 »
Hi all the RC ship captain;
I felt something strange about previous pics of the motorised prop fighter before taking
off the flight deck....Some of you may already have felt or noticed what is strange... ::)
Yes,! No flaps have been deployed at all despite that it was just before taking off.!
And I added them to the trailing edges of the wings as shown below. :grin1:
1/2;No flaps ...
3/7;I added like these....
These flaps may possibly add more scale realism to the take-off scene of the fighter and dynamic atmosphere aboard HMS Fencer. ::DD

Hi all the RC ship captains;
The second and final motorised prop fighter project has started now.
This plane is to be placed at rear part of the flight deck,as if it were waiting for the No1 fighter to take off at the front deck.
1/2;The first plane of the group will be motorised this time.
3/4;No1 fighter is as you know just taking off with the flaps down and the tail gear
 up. :grin1:
5/6;Disassembly to install a motor in the second plane has started. ::DD

Hi all the RC ship captains;
Here you see today are the pics of assemblies of the second motorised prop fighter.
This time, it was so easy to do so as I had already experienced the procedures
in the first plane.No trial and error except drilling a hole into the prop shaft. :grin1:

Re: HMS Fencer's 2nd fighter completed
« Reply #259 on: 18 November 2020, 05:08:17 »
Hi all the RC ship captains;
The second motorised prop fighter was completed and laid on the flight deck
as shown below.
This fighter is not taking off now,but just waiting to take off with the tail gear
down in touch with the deck.So wiring not only inside the fuselage,but also through
the deck was easy and a scale appearance seems comparatively kept well done.
1;The second is complete! :grin1:
2;It was laid on a definite place of deck hatch.
3/6;The deck hatch was set on the definite place on the flight deck.
     The second fighter looks rotating a propeller powerfully as if it were
    just to start a take-off as No2 fighter following the No1. ;D :D
7;No1 looks just like the take-off at the front deck. :) ;D
Enjoy and imagine the scenes tense with the take-off of the onboard fighters. ;D
But, some crews on the catwalk look carefree,don't they,,,? ;D

Hi all the RC ship captains;
I made a pair of wheel stoppers for a waiting fighter for take-off,which is rotating
props powerfully as seen below.These stuff are indispensable for a prop spinning fighter
waiting to start a rolling for take-off,aren't they,,? ::DD

Hi all the RC ship captains;
I added a flight deck crew to have him released the wheel stoppers of the
No2 fighter rotating its prop so powerfully for starting to roll for the take-off
following the No1 fighter.!!   ;D
By the crew added,some kind of vivid atmosphere on the flight deck may have  possibly been generated to some extent.
The scene is tense with the prop rotating fighter and the crew releasing
 the stoppers. ;D
 Enjoy and imagine the atmosphere on the deck. :grin1:

Hi all the RC ship captains;
Here you see are the pics of the complete No2 fighter in place of the flight deck.
Feel the atmosphere tense with prop spinning No2 fighter with a crew and other
surroundings. ::DD
The engine(motor)is running powerfully enough to generate a sound "booooon"
that is echoed and amplified through/from the deck/the hull. :D
Actual scene is more realistic than these pics. ::)

Hi all the RC ship captains;
Here you see are the pics of HMS Fencer launching a fighter squadron.
Two fighters are already rotating the props for take-offs.
The pics are a series of movements of take-offs for the two planes and crews
seeing them off beside the island structure.
1;"Fighter No1,wishing you a successful task..."
2;"Wishing you a safe return..."
3;"Fighter No2,engine ignition!"
4;"Everything ready!"
5;"Wheel stoppers away!"
Enjoy the scenes tense with the take-offs on the flight deck ! ;D :-[

Hi all:

These are some of my favorite shots of HMS Fencer sailing on my local lake
to adjust the ballast.
1;"Sailing in the ocean"? ;D
2;Hard to port at high speed
3;Hard to starboard
4;"Going back to home port after the test" :grin1:
From next spring ,the test will resume for the best draft with less ballast.
