Hi Ron;
A great thanks for your cordial comment.
My HMS Fencer weighing about 24kgs with the ballasts has shown
a good sailing characteristics even on a little rough waves,though
she is a flat-top which normally tends toward top-heavy from its fateful shape. :grin1:

Re: HMS Fencer sailing in the ocean ?

Hi all the RC ship captains;
HMS Fencer for today are the pics in which she is sailing on the realistic waves.  :grin1:
Attention to the waves which are comparatively small.
Generally speaking,smaller the waves are,more real the model ships look on the water.
But this is too natural as the waves are 1/1,while the model ships are scaled down largely from 1/1. ;D

Hi all the RC ship captains;
HMS Fencer for today is in silhouette.The images are so impressive to see
as she was silhouetted against the water surface that generated so calm an atmosphere....Enjoy the atmosphere of calmness brought by HMS Fencer.!! ::DD

Hi all the RC ship captains;
Here you see today are the pics of the drive motor installed in the hull and its powerful effect giving the 24kg-carrier a dynamic motion and propulsion even in the rough water.
1;The above is the motor and another is 540 class motor for comparison.
2;The motor is installed like this.Direct drive is very simple for maintenance
and less mechanical troubles,though it gives her sufficient power as seen below.
3;A screw propeller of 63mm diameter could be driven adequately and sometimes powerfully by the motor.
4;I am seeing her off anxiously... :D
5;She showed a powerful motion making a large wave at stern by the motor at a little higher speed.The wave looks larger for its size when viewed from the back. :-[
6;Close encounter! :D
7;Stable steering to port.
8;Returning to her homeport safely and calmly,,,, ;D

Hi all the RC ship captains;
Here you see today are the pics of HMS Fencer leaving impressive wakes from her bow and stern.
1/2;She is leaving two kinds of wakes impressively,from bow and stern.
3;She is sailing straight forward to her homeport at higher speed.? :D :)
4;She is starting to steer starboard loosely.

Hi all the RC ship captains;
I was so much surprised at the video of Leif's ship sailing well with regard to
her stunning stability for a so called top- heavy container vessel like an aircraft carrier.! :grin1:
I felt something heavy possibly set inside the hull.
The followings are the pics of my HMS Fencer sailing stably on the moderate surface
and a little rough surface.
1/2;on the rough surface
3;Quick hard to port finished at comparatively high speed.
   Attention to the long wake and fierce waves generated by the screw prop. :grin1:
4;On the moderate surface

Hi all the RC ship captains;
If I were living in UK,I may have attended Deans Marine Open Weekend meeting.,,, :-\
And I could have a good time with many RC boaters for various topics on the RC vessels as well as have a chance to observe Deans Marine model ships in the show room.....
Have a splendid time to those who to attend the meeting. ::DD

My HMS Fencer is sailing on a choppy day.This level of choppy surface is rather
adequate for a realistic sailing for her. :grin1:

HMS Fencer left her home port for another mission sailing after intensive check
as she has been sleeping in mothballs on the bed.... ::DD
1;She has been sleeping for many months on the bed.
2;Control equipment worked well.
3;Digital display of voltage showed correctly.
4;Everything  ready !! :grin1:
5;She left her home port silently.
6/7;Under operational sailing. :grin1:

Hi all the Rc ship captains;
Here are the pics of my HMS Fencer sailing on an autumn day under the
low or mid sunshine.The breeze gave us some comfort and a feeling of the autumn. ::DD
It's a great pleasure to sail her on such a day,isn't it ?  :grin1:

Hi all the RC ship captains;
My HMS Fencer was released from the mothball continued for many months to sail again on my local lake this summer.Every part of the ship was well kept as she had been as she was originally completed last year. ::DD
But,the lake was still under reconstruction due to heavy damages suffered from a huge typhoon passing over our country on last Oct,,,  :'( >:D
I found this status by previous checking a few days prior to actually going to sail. :-\
