Hi Dennis,
what a great solution to raise the ramp. I like it. It's much better than mine. Good job ^^^!

Enclosed two pics of mine, which shows the scenery by night :smiley1:.

The first one shows my MB 1633 while leaving the ship.
The second pic shows the superstructure with the illuminated swimmingpool ::DD.

Thanks gents, it has been quit the challenge having the upper deck already install. Your looks amazing Arne with the lights. The pool is awesome!!! What did you use for lights on your super structure? Will be following your new build Joe on model mayhem. Sounds like a great build. As for raising the bar , I have learned what I know by watching all of you doing some amazing builds, thanks to all of you that contribute.

Hello Dennis,
I took some SMD LEDs like these http://www.ebay.de/itm/371513100557?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. At these SMDs a cable wire is soldered ^^^. I pasted them in a little 2mm tube so they looks like fluorescent lamps which can be found very often onboard of oceangoing vessels.

Pic two: SMD with plastictube and light reflector

Ahoi Dennis,
are there some news about your beauty? Mine is nearly finished now. Tomorrow, I want to dock it at the pool of my colleague, who's also called Dennis :smiley1:.

A few more pics of the finished decks. Hope to finish it up by next fall so I can get some time to sail this ship. It handles amazing well and after doing another float test I only had to add about 4oz of lead to one side which in the end I will use a trailer on the deck to offset the weight.

Hi Dennis,
great job! It looks very good ^^^!

Last weekend I visited my colleague Dennis. I wanted to test my vessel at his basin. The examination was successfully. But I had a little problem. Outside, it was very cold, only 2 or three degrees. So the bonded pavement markings dissolved from the cargodeck. I wasn't amused about it :(. I think, I've to renew it. Maybe I'll take some kind of acryllic paint to reproduce the markings. How did you make these markings at the deck?

Hey Arne, she looks the part, right at home on the water. Very nice build indeed. ^^^ ^^^ As for the deck markings I use Kwikstripe. It cures in about 24 hours and is super thin so it not raised off the deck, looks more flush. Comes in several colors as well. I used it on my Muirneag build and it has lasted for 3 years so far.

Hi Dennis,
glad you like it. Thanks for info about the tape. Can't buy it in Germany >:D! I'm still looking for another solution. I think, I've found it. I'll present it the next days if I have realised it ^^^.

Enclosed some other pics of her "christening", when the vessel was in "ballast conditions".
