Glasgow Model Warship and Lifeboat Display Team

1st Annual Scottish Navy Days / Start of Season Show

The photo?s shown here are from our first annual display!  It turned out to be a fantastic day, with glorious weather all round and lots of great people from the local community. Our debut show had a great atmosphere, generating a great deal of genuine interest, which had our members chatting away, answering questions about our models from members of the public.

The hands-on part of our sailing display proved to be very popular, with both adults and children alike, providing a lot of good interaction with the public and club members.  The hard work and never ending dedication of the team members was greatly appreciated by the spectators.  Without the time and tireless efforts of the members, none of this would have been possible.

The aim of our show is to raise awareness of the hobby and to establish good links with the local community.  We are proud of our charity work which over the years has raised much needed funds for different organisations.   This is something very important to us, and is an aspect of our hobby that we are dedicated to.

For anyone interested in obtaining further information regarding us, please feel free to contact us via this post/PM.
