KESTRAL
High torque medium, speed motor with a low current consumption. Best use in fast, light, planing models such as M.G.B.s etc. Can be fitted to an Olympus belt drive for large heavy models such as Liberty ships, and Battleships.

KYTE
Small medium torque motor. Best use in fast displacement type launches or the smaller warships. Low running current on 4.8 to 6 volts for good duration.

KINGFISHER
Small high efficient, motor giving high torque and low revs with ultra low running current. Best use in small warships when there is a limit on NiCad size, such as Minesweeper, Corvettes etc.

 KONDOR
One of the top motors around, Small diameter, slow start, medium speed, high torque, low current consumption. Highly recommended in all Fleet Destroyers. One of the best general purpose motors on the market.

KONDOR 11
All the spec as for the KONDOR but with a torque band added to the frame, this increases the torque delivered by the motor at lower rev. Best use at lower voltage in heavy craft such as Tugs, Trawlers etc.

KITTIWAKE
A NEW motor to the Deans range. This motor is constructed on the standard KONDOR case, but has been rewound to deliver its maximum power at 6 volts and to be biased towards higher speeds. Best use for this motor is in the medium fast launches when a long running time is more important than maximum speed.
Power range 4.8 to 8.4 volts.

KITTIWAKE 5
All the spec as for the KITTIWAKE, but with a torque band added to the frame, this increases the torque delivered by the motor and reduces the revs. Best use at lower voltage in large fast launches, or Fine lined heavy ships.


BLACK FIVE
Small HIGH SPEED torque motor. Best use in fast PLANING type launches or the new Small air sea rescue craft

Low running current on 4.8 to 6 volts for medium duration.

MEDIUM SPEED 3 pole motor. Mated to a 2.5 to 1 reduction gearbox.
Best use in fast displacement type craft or used in fast electric's swinging a BIG propeller.
Low running current on 6 volts N.L 2.5 amps.
Power range 4.8 to 7.2 volts at 6 VOLTS = 4900 rpm

NAVY GEARED - MINI
Small medium SPEED 3 pole motor. Mated to a 2.75 to 1 reduction gearbox.
Total weight combined is 74 grams, Best use in medium displacement type craft of light warships.
Low running current on 6 volts n.l = .5 amps.
Power range 4.8 to 7.2 volts at 6 volts = 4.200 rpm

GEARBOX DRIVES



Nylon geared reduction drives
2.4 / 1 reduction gearbox with delrin gears and bearings for quiet running.
These units can be bolted together to give counter rotation on each output shaft. The input can be mounted on either side of the top frame. Single units can be mounted sideways to give reverse drive or lower height.






KEHRER 28mm JET DRIVE
This jet drive unit will take up to a Neodym motor at 16 volts.
We have also run this unit with success at 7.2 volts in a 36” planing hull

This 28 mm Jetdrive unit is produced by one of the leading manufacturers in Germany, and moulded in GF nylon, its is fitted with roller bearings in the main drive shaft and reverse bucket, also comes complete with a high speed flexible coupling to fit standard shafts.

 

OLYMPUS MARINE BELT DRIVE

Toothed Belt drives for reducing motor speed for large & heavy models

Will allow you to swing BIG props. 2.5 to 1 reduction and almost silent. Will take Kestral cans or standard Mabuchi 54 type motors.
