Are pleased to announce that they are the sole agents for the UK for the Tianjie range of model boats kits. These kits will be listed under a separate heading in our catalogue and on our website as the china class.

These kits, new to the model world are of excellent quality and give the modeller the opportunity to have a finished model to world class standards. The company owned by Mr.Liang Jie Feng and his hand picked team who have been gold class medal winners in the world champion ships over 20 times since 1989.The company is ISD 9001 registered for quality.

The kits are based on a glass fibre cloth hull. The prop-tubes, A frames & rudder tubes are also pre-bonded into the hull. The glass fibre deck is fitted into the hull and stiffening strips glassed into the underside to make a very strong lightweight hull needing only final finishing to the joints. The Superstructure assembly is of C.N.C. cut A.B.S. plastic sheets with all the parts milled out from the sheets and mounted on runners with locating slots milled into the plastic for locating joints.

A large number of brass etched sheets in assorted thickness gives huge amount of fine detail to the model and make some of the more complex items such as search radars possible to a fineness never seen before on large scale model.

A full set of of moulded resin fittings with outstanding detail is included in the kit., these are pre-packed into foam boxes for protection as the fineness of the items has never been seen before in kits on the market.

Full size plans are included with exploded views instructions of the assembly of the superstructure parts. Colour pictures for the location of the brass etched fittings are included in the instructions.

Deans Marine feel that these kits are of excellent quality and can be made up into outstanding models. The instructions are of basic assembly drawings and it is assumed that the modeller will have a good working knowledge of modelling techniques as much of the detail is left to the modeller. These kits ARE NOT for the beginner to the hobby as the are large and complex models.

The kits are shipped to the UK so there is a delay time for stock. The are available as shipped from the factories in China at this time and sold as shipped with no guarantees or recommendations from Deans Marine on the construction and sailing qualities of the finished models. There is no technical backup on the kits from our staff at this time. This will be added after the kits have been through our workshop and tested by our staff of technicians.

In time all the kits that we add to our range will go through our workshop for assembly and testing and the writing of English instructions along with any alterations, modifications, and suggestions we feel are relevant to final assembly and sailing qualities of the finished model kits. These kits will be listed as Deans Marine approved. We have built models in our showroom for viewing and display kits for study by interested customers. We have a C/D of detailed pictures of the kits components and of the finished model from our showroom. This is available for £ 9.-- (refundable on purchase of any China class kit)

WE HAVE 3 BUILT MODELS AND 3 KITS TO VIEW FOR THE PUBLIC AT THE FACTORY, BUT NO STOCK, IT IS GOING TO TAKE ABOUT 12 WEEKS TO GET THE KITS SHIPPED TO THE UK BY CONTAINER, IT IS THE MORE ECONOMIC WAY, BUT TO TAKE ORDERS, WE HAVE TO ASK FOR A DEPOSIT BEFORE GOING AHEAD WITH SHIPPING.
